Young Investigator

Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) and Brazilian Meeting on Organic Synthesis (BMOS) are proud to announce the BMOS-RSC Young Investigator Distinction (a Chemical Communication and Organic & Biomolecular Chemistry journals effort).

Applicants must be 40 years old or under on the application date. Applications are welcome from candidates based in Brazil and the UK. There are going to be awards available for UK and Brazilian based researchers. A committee, that will include members of the Royal Society of Chemistry and BMOS Organizing Committee, will select winners. Winners will receive a certificate, an invitation to deliver a presentation and a contribution towards travel and accommodation to attend the 17th BMOS.

The call for applications for the BMOS-RSC Young Investigator Distinction to attend the 17th BMOS Conference, 21-24 October 2018, Salvador-BA, Brazil are open!

The applications should be send from 1st, June until 30th, June by e-mail to yid.bmos.rsc@gmail.com

     Prepare your documents needed for submission:

  •      a supporting statement to include a paragraph outlining why attendance at this conference would be beneficial (including future engagements Brazil/UK)
  •       an abstract of your proposed presentation (ca. 1 page)
  •       a brief biological sketch [curriculum vitae; ca. 1 page] which should include date of birth, summary of education and career, a list of no more than 5 relevant publications. The biographical sketch [curriculum vitae] should also include evidence of independence and research originality/impact.
